FinGreen: Championing Financial Literacy 

Launched in 2022, FinGreen is QNET’s signature financial literacy programme designed to uplift communities by providing the necessary tools and knowledge for them to succeed. In its first phase, the programme has already benefitted nearly 3,000 women and youth across Nigeria, Ghana, and Türkiye. Centred on the pillars of Assess, Train, and Advocate, FinGreen collaborates with local experts to create tailored education strategies, offers specialized training to marginalized groups, and promotes sustainability by fostering financial responsibility and community involvement.

The programme’s impact is evident in the success stories of its beneficiaries, who have gained the confidence and skills to manage their finances and build a better future for themselves and their communities. 

Real Stories, Real Impact 

Olaniyi Shalom Anuoluwapo, a 20-year-old student from Nigeria, shares, “The FinGreen program has impacted me in several ways. Firstly, is the ability to spend money wisely and save at the expense of your income. Through some activities, I have come to understand that not all opportunities should be embraced. Rather, one must be productive based on identified opportunities.” 

Hatice Guzel, a 39-year-old homemaker from Türkiye, reflects, “The FinGreen training helped me recognize some things I was ignoring in my life and caused me to see clearly. In the training, we talked about the power of women. A woman puts in a lot of effort and produces a lot, but it is never seen. This training empowered me to become assertive.” 

Looking Ahead
